“Freedom” implies breaking of shackles from the age old customs, abuse, violence and discrimination of the down trodden strata of society viz women, children and people who do not have any say in the societal matters.

“Abhivyakti”, the Dramatic Club, with the theme– “Freedom from Social Abuse” provided a suitable platform to the aspiring lawyers to give solutions to burning issues. These social impediments have played havoc with our emancipated and progressive lifestyle. The aspiring lawyers showcased their concerns on issues related to social problems and how the worst could have been averted.

Mr Sandeep Marwah , President, Asian Education Group applauded the young aspiring lawyers  to have voiced  the concerns of the under privileged  part of society. He appreciated them as they stood for “Freedom” from all kinds of social abuse be it the domestic violence against women, child labour, hurdles in way of women emancipation, child abuse and exploitation of the poor.

Dr. Lalitya Vir Srivastava, Director, Asian Education Group, motivated the students and congratulated them to have voiced the concerns of exploited people who are not aware about their rights and hence do not have the courage to stand up for their concerns.

ALC Students really made us think- “Are we really free or is it just a mirage?” What a performance by Ritesh and group… they were superb!!! Rituraj and group did a splendid job by depicting the plight of homeless children!!!

The judges gave first prize to Ritesh and Group ; Second prize  to Rituraj and group.
