BCA Students Industrial Visit at Network Bulls, Gurgaon on 19th March 2018
On 19th of March 2018, students of BCA (Asian School of Business) visited “Network Bulls� at Gurgaon Sector-14. Network Bulls is Asia’s most revered and biggest Cisco Training Labs in Gurgaon. The students on this educational tour got rudimentary knowledge in regards to theoretical and practical training on networking, functioning of Cisco routers, switches and firewalls. They were also toured around the data center fully equipped with approximately 2000 Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, IPS systems, ISE servers, call managers vis a vis IP phones. Students learned about various networking aspects such as IP address, types of network, OSI model and various networking protocols. They also implemented one of the networking protocols in Network Bull’s lab. Apart from it, they received insights of which networking concepts are obsolete and which concepts are truly in practical implementation when it comes to Industries. They had in-depth learning session of Cisco Networking and how networks work in the real industry. The entire trip broadened the career scope of our students and showed them variety of job possibilities. The treasured insights acquired during this Industrial Educational Tour will be valued and deployed whenever a future situation demands our knowledge about the same.
