Management Development Programme: A Powerful Pedagogic Tool In Management Studies

Students seeking a course in Management like MBA courses or PGDM courses, and that too from any top business school in India, will invariably come across an academic feature called Management Development Program or MDP. On the face of it, a MDP can be loosely defined as is “an investment in you as a manager”, whereby you will connect with peers from across your individual location, share challenges and work together to find effective solutions. At the academic level, MDPs provide student-participants with the opportunity to refocus, to immerse themselves in the latest thinking about best management practices, and get them to interact with the leaders and influential votaries of the business world.

Asian Business School – which is a part of Asian Education Group and is ranked as one of the best B-schools in Delhi NCR imparting PGDM degree courses in Noida – in collaboration with The Institute of Management Consultants of India (IMCI) organized a very well received Management Development Programme on Saturday, 3rd August, 2019. The MDP focused on an important topic, i.e., “Consulting in Modern Digital Times”.

The eminent speakers for the MDP included Dr. Anubhuti Dwivedi, Associate Dean, ABS; Dr. Amit Pareenja, Associate Director, TATA Communications; Mr. Vikrant Bhatnagar, Head – T & D, Vistara; Mr. Jagmohan Rawat, Freelance Management & IT Consultant; and Mr. Tarun Mudgal, Director – Sales, Skillsoft.
