With UP Board UPMSP 12th Result 2020 declared, for Law Aspirants it’s time to consider B.A.LL.B admissions!

For Class 12th students of UP Board UPMSP, Saturday 27th June, 2020 was the D- Day as the Uttar Pradesh Board declared the Class 12th/ intermediate results at 12 noon. Around 25 lakh students who were registered for UP Board 12th exam rushed to check their results online at upresults.nic.in.

The result this year, according to the UP Education Minister, has been better than that of last year as the number of students passing the exams for both class 10 and class 12 students has gone up substantially.

A few highlights of this year’s result are that, on the bright side, Anurag Malik has topped class 12 exam with 97 % marks. The second rank has been secured by Pranjal Singh and the third rank has been secured by Utkarsh Shukla. Further, the pass percentage has also gone up from 70.2 % last year to 74.64 % this year. For class 12 results too, the pass percentage increased from 80.07 % to 83.31 %.

Ms. Nina Srivastava, the UP board secretary, informed that 1.46 million boys and 1.12 million girls had taken the UP Board intermediate exam this year. This year, the UP Board intermediate examination was conducted from 18th February 2020 to 6th March 2020.

This year, the UP Board result declaration has been delayed by around one month due to coronavirus pandemic. Earlier, the UP Board had completed the exams well in time after the lockdown was lifted. Nearly, 1.2 lakh teachers evaluated around 3.5 crores answer sheets.

It is being said that UP board might issue a digitally signed mark sheet this year. The mark sheet will have signature of the UPMSP Uttar Pradesh Board secretary that will be eligible for taking admissions in colleges. However, a final decision on the digitally verified mark sheet is yet to be taken.
