Bemoaning the current state of affairs, he said, “We have forgotten the constitutional way of living and the constitutional discipline. Remember, you are going to be LAW MEN and not LAY MEN, so you need to have constitutional conscience because society expects so many things from you. So, you must refrain from unlawful conduct. It is here that discipline will decide your destiny.”
At this point, Hon’ble Justice Kurian Joseph urged the students to “always strive for excellence, be prepared for a thrilling career, and become achievers in society.”
Hon’ble Justice Kurian Joseph concluded his address with a strong advice to the students to be always wary of the three evil ‘Cs’ of Indian society – viz., Casteism, Communalism and Corruption and recommended them to always conduct themselves as “true sons and daughters of Mother India”.
