Asian Business School, Noida hosts a much-appreciated National Case Analysis Competition – “PROMULGARE 2020: ENACT THE CASE”!

Sector 125, Noida-based Asian Business School– which is a part of Asian Education Group and is ranked as one of the best B-schools in Delhi NCR – hosted a much-appreciated National level Case Analysis Competition – “PROMULGARE 2020: ENACT THE CASE” – on Saturday, 19th December 2020. The event aimed at preparing students to understand various components of case study analysis and its application through role play. Being a national level event, it saw the active participation of students from different colleges like Amity University, NDIM, KCC Institute of Technology & Management, IIMT group of colleges, MIET, Vidya School of Business, Jims Engineering technical campus, and Institute of Innovation in Technology & Management who were able to collect essential insights through their participation. In view of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and keeping in mind the social distancing norms, this event was however conducted via online medium through the Zoom platform.

Thirty-one teams from different colleges registered for the Case Analysis Competition, out of which, 15 teams qualified the Pre-Screening round. The qualifying teams were offered a case study for analysis one day prior to the event on Friday, 18th December 2020. The participants had the opportunity to analyze, structure the case and enact the case in the form of a role play, showcasing how the scenario will be dealt at corporate level before an eminent panel of judges who were HR experts having rich experience of industry and academia.

The competition saw all the teams displaying great enthusiasm and creativity in their respective time constraints, wherein each team was allotted 10 minutes to present their role play. After a structured process of brainstorming and information exchange, the eminent panel of judges assessed the preparation level of participants and in the end a common consensus took place between the judges and participants on the area of barriers, recommendation and solutions. As per the declared results, the winners of the competition were: First position was bagged jointly by two teams of Asian Business School, Second position was bagged by the team of Vidya School of Business, and Third position was bagged by Asian School of Business.

As the competition unfolded, the teams made exemplary display of their analytical skills and critical thinking abilities blended with effective presentation style to enact the case through a role play.

A much appreciated event, the competition was organized by one of prominent student clubs of Asian Business School, namely the HR Club “Synergize- To-Get-HR” .
