ASPIRING LAWYERS SHOWCASED THEIR DEBATING SKILLS@GNOSIS CLUB ACTIVITY
“Gnosis- the Literary Club” hosted the “Debate Competition” for the students of ALC. The students of BA LLB were phenomenal in their presentation of analytical views, communication and well thought conclusions. They were given topics from current affairs like “Should online trolling be penalized”, “Jallikattu – Priority should be given to Culture or Humanity”, “IPL betting should be legalized”. “Is Delhi the crime Capital of India” “Loud Music- a menace to the society”, “Should Capital Punishment be banned”.
A loud applause could be heard after their presentation ‘for or against the motion”. The rebuttal round made this competition more interesting. What a performance by Rituraj and his team!!! They spoke convincingly on the topic “Is Delhi the Crime capital of India”. Sheetal and group chose to speak on the topic “ Should online trolling be penalized” and their group came up with very interesting ideas.
The judges gave first and second prizes to these groups respectively.
