Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in the form of Student Workshops in the holy city of India, Varanasi turned out to be one of the most successful initiatives by Asian Education Group (AEG), (an educational arm of Marwah Studio Enterprise) this year. Students, at the stage where they need to understand the true meaning of stress & time management and choosing the right career path at the same time need a lot of motivation and awareness to walk on the precise direction.
A team of prominent career counselors from AEG conducted master class and workshop in four renowned schools in the city for three consecutive days wherein more than 1000+ students of classes 11th and 12th participated in the session. Representatives from all the three AEG schools (Asian Business School, Asian School of Business and Asian Law College) were present in the team. The session started with an intensively designed Psychometric test focusing essentially on the student choices and necessities.
The first workshop commenced from Arya Mahila Senior Secondary School (a part of Arya Mahila degree college affiliated to Banaras Hindu University) where more than 300 students actively took part in the session followed by the interactive session with the facilitator which gave a glimpse of students’ curiosity as they realized that there are various other career avenues apart from engineering, medical and civil services which are yet unexplored. It became an eye-opener for the students and this took session to the next level making it furthermore interesting. Similar sessions were also conducted in Guru Nanak English School, Aryan International School and Children’s Academy as well. Cooperation of the Principals of these schools made the execution of these workshops smooth and hassle-free.
